A Step Toward Hope: A Global Initiative for Children

This project is just beginning, and we are looking for schools, organizations, and individuals who want to take part in making it a reality. Our goal is to create meaningful connections between children across the world through a simple yet powerful gesture—donating shoes. This is not just about giving, but about sharing empathy, solidarity, and hope.

We aim to provide shoes to children living in refugee camps in Lebanon. More than just a material necessity, these shoes carry a message of compassion and a step toward a more connected and caring world.

このプロジェクトはまだ始まったばかりです。私たちは、一緒に実現してくれる学校、団体、個人を探しています。
目標は、世界中の子どもたちをつなぐこと。そのために、シンプルだけど大きな力を持つ方法 「靴を寄付すること」 を選びました。
これは単なる支援ではなく、思いやり、連帯、そして希望を分かち合うことでもあります。

私たちは、レバノンの難民キャンプで暮らす子どもたちに靴を届けることを目指しています。
靴はただの生活必需品ではなく、優しさのメッセージを運び、よりつながりのある、思いやりに満ちた世界へと続く一歩になるのです。

 

Why This Project?

In refugee camps, many children face extreme hardships, lacking basic needs such as protection, mobility, and dignity. A simple pair of shoes can make a significant difference in their daily lives, allowing them to walk safely and go to school. But beyond that, we want every pair of donated shoes to carry a message: You are not alone. We care about you.

なぜこのプロジェクトが必要なのか？

難民キャンプでは、多くの子どもたちが厳しい環境の中で生活し、守られることや自由に動くこと、尊厳を持つことさえ難しい状況にあります。
たった一足の靴でも、大きな違いを生み出します。安全に歩くことができ、学校に通うこともできます。

しかし、それだけではありません。私たちは、寄付されたすべての靴にメッセージを込めたいのです。
「あなたはひとりじゃない。私たちはあなたを大切に思っています。」

 

How You Can Help

Since this initiative is still in its early stages, we are actively looking for schools and organizations willing to join the project. We also need funds to help us organize logistics, transport the shoes, and provide additional support such as food, clothing, and educational materials for children in refugee camps in Lebanon.

We encourage participants to not only donate shoes but also share a short video about their story—how their shoes served them and what they hope they will bring to the child who receives them. Or write a letter and add a picture. These messages will be shared with the children in refugee camps, who will then send back their own thank-you messages, fostering meaningful connections.
